Or lightning on the Bay caused a power surge in Kemah, and the electronic versions have to be reconstructed. Or Rebekkah Laird Ruthstrom took her dog to a dog show and the crucial papers are in her car, but she will be returning any day now. Or the auditors have been delayed in signing off, because they are attending a conference on detecting money laundering schemes. Or the company has taken the week off, while Danny is in the Bahamas taking care of family business. Or the SEC has misplaced the filings and new ones are being prepared. Or, . . .
