In memory of Dana E. White>
Back in early 96, there was an individual who in an indirect impact on the future of Franklin Companies. It was at this time that Dana White who himself was a true-entrepreneur, saw in his own eyes, the vision of both companies.
As Dana entrusted me to look out for his investments, I will always be grateful for that. He was a great loving man who loved to not only make his dreams come true, but to also be apart of someone else's.
Dana himself developed many patents in the Tool & Die Industry, so it wasn't difficult for him to take interest in the Franklin vision.
We all have our dreams, and Dana was able to see many of his come true. I was praying Dana would stay around long enough to see FNet to its fulfillment, but it just wasn't meant to be.
One of his last few words Dana said to me was this>
"Stephen, I am not concerned about FNet's IPO, nor am I concerned about the prosperity to its shareholders. I feel we are in good hands and great things will happen, it'll just takes time. I feel at ease with what Franklin has accomplished in this short period of time and what lies ahead".
With individual's like Dana, Franklin will succeed. I have never been short on the success of Franklin, but with Dana's illness leading to his death, I was short of patience in regards his investments.
To all those concerned about my last few posts, I must apologize for my impertinent comments.
Regards,
Stephen |
