Steve,

>>As for Fortran, there is a language that is dead come the new C draft (which includes support for complex numbers, FINALLY!). C++ is great.. it really does increase efficiency when it comes to coding things.. also, the object oriented approach lends itself to very clean source code.<<

I agree 100%. If I have a choice, then C, C++ is my favorite and
most fun. Trouble is many times it has to interact with other
"junk"....but I am slowly changing that.

Also, to tell you the truth, I am getting away from programming
and more into investing. More interesting and profitable, but
I still do enjoy programming. (good job security)

PS... you'd be surprised at how much FORTRAN code exists in
the world....unbelievable. It's now a problem because, from
what I hear, they don't teach FORTRAN anymore at most schools.

The one thing I like about FORTAN: It is so mindless and
simple, it's the only language I don't have to remember
the syntax hardly.:-)
