[HoTMetaL competitor] Site Technologies reports q3.

"...The company reported a net loss of $(417,000), or $(0.04) per share, on revenues of $42,000 compared to a net loss of $(1,611,000), or $(0.46) per share, on revenues of $182,000 for the comparable quarter of 1997. Net loss for the nine months ending September 30, 1998 was $(2,497,000), or $(0.29) per share, on revenues of $270,000 compared to a net loss of $(4,699,000), or $(1.58) per share, on revenues of $1,677,000 for the comparable nine months of 1997. The overall revenue decrease was primarily attributable to the Company's reduction in operating expenses and operations, which significantly reduced the Company's ability to market its newly released products.

In May 1998, the Company restructured its operations in an effort to reduce cash outlays, and in June 1998, the Company hired Alliant Partners to assist in identifying potential strategic options, including merger or acquisition candidates or sale of the Company's assets. The Company and Alliant Partners are continuing their efforts to identify these strategic options.
