Beating the estimate should do it. Sales numbers should look good too. The annual report stressed that an awful lot of customers are content with their earlier RAID models (6500, 6900, etc.), but also stated:

"Before the 7000, users would require five 6700 disk
arrays to attain the speed required to transfer this
quantity and quality of images in real time. The 7000
began shipping this fall, and has generated the highest
demand for a product that we have seen in our company's
history."


So if it does turn out that sales numbers are surprisingly strong, no one can say that the company didn't warn them.

We can have this discussion on the CPCI thread...it's getting a bit lonely.
