I think both AOL and Amazon will be good stocks for the next 3-5
years just because the internet continues to grow by leaps and bounds.

You think Amazon will be a good stock for another year? I'm sorry, but if you know anything about fundamental analysis, surely you know this stock is divorced from reality. It is an accident waiting to happen. I wouldn't short it, because everyone knows it has only gone up due to short covering instigated by float manipulators. I don't think there are too many shorters left to burn on it. Now its just gonna begin its acceleration downward, espectially in light of the owner now dumping shares. Did you know that no insider has ever purchased shares of AMZN?

AOL is overpriced too, but at least the company has made money. Amazon.com is merely a manipulated momentum machine built by some Silicom valley IPO factory (Kliner Perkins?), hyped by brokers with interests in the stock who have absolutely no morals or ethics.

If you are a stock broker, you should think of the implications for your reputation when Amazon.com crashes having for called it a good value at the absurd price this quarterly increasing losses company's stock has.

The company is valued at two and a half times Borders and Barnes and Noble combined.

I must myself question if you have ulterior motives or interests when you talk of this stock in such a manner.
