Some thoughts on stops...

For me "when" to set my stop is more important
than "where" .. "time" stops are more important
in short term trading than "price" stops

If you are day-trading you tend to be fairly
precise about your entry points and what
price movement you immediately anticipate..
if the price movement doesn't occur in either
the direction or time frame you had in mind
then close out the trade immediately.

The GERN trade going in was an "overnite"
trade..I'd have stayed with it regardless
of the price action after entering the trade.

Price stops are appropriate for longer duration
trades especially if you do something else
during market hours.
