Chicken's Post

All good advice, although in my experience says the 1, 5 and 10k share blocks get better fills. Certainly 300 shares should be the minimum, but after that I suggest 500 share increments.

The other comment is more in response to the 'Professinal Trader' comment. I routinely trade more than two, and often more than three equities when the market is moving. It is far better to balance out a network with a Dow industrial with a consumer goods sector if all are moving than to pick just one. the reason is that it manages one's risk better and with thetools availabe to the trader, is not terribly difficult to master. It is not for the novice, but a good trader should be able to handle it readily.

good post
