Richard, I am happy to report that I'm still on board and recovering nicely from a hard disk crash. It's hard to imagine the trauma of losing all those bookmarks and favorites until you've experienced it -- but life goes on.

I'm trying to come to grips with the Qualcomm/MS alliance and the use of WinCE in Qualcomm phones. I thought Qualcomm had better taste!

Even more confusing is the direction MS is taking in the embedded market. Until now, we have been led to believe that CE would be modified to meet the needs of this market; however, there is now rumor of NT being used to develop an offering:

Why would Microsoft form an alliance to develop a product utilizing a system for which even they have lost hope? Why would Qualcomm buy into it?

In the meantime WIND keeps on blowing along, meeting expectations and performing as we expect. What could be better?

Mitch
