Richard, et al,

Barron's GMI was 427.43 on 11/05, up significantly from 392,06
last week. With the POG essentially unchanged at 293.30 (11/06),
the ratio was 1.457, up significantly from last week's 1.34 but still
strongly suggestive of significantly higher prices the Fall of 99. However, it would seem to me that, with the price of gold below 300, this ratio is relatively high and, in the near term, either the Price of gold will move up or the GMI will fall back.

Cheers,
Larry
