Jerry Sanders refuses to deploy devices that are superior to Intel's. He wants to insure that AMD never exceeds Intel's performance specs. Thus, he is having his engineers, marketing and sales people "sit" on these advanced processors, production worthy (so says McMannis, Hint, Hint, Winky, Winky ), while Intel plays technological catch up. Sanders has been known to always defer technology advances to Intel so as not to exert any marketing advantages in AMD's favor. Jerry would not want the limelight to shine all over himself and AMD should he really deliver these superior production ready parts way ahead of schedule. Paul
