cAP's October 24 post: "Yes indeed... leave tomorrow. :) I have tried to change my mindset from: Darn! We're getting rained on the whole time to: Whee! I get to see the effects of a pre apocalyptic event up close!!!" I thought your use of "pre apocalyptic" was a huge overstatement, but it was not. I'm surprised it was that bad that far up the coast and glad you were able to get out OK. It was a dreadful hurricane and I'm sorry it happened. I hope everyone will be generous in sending aid to Central America. M.
