Does anyone have any thoughts on Coastal Bancorp [CBSA], a Texas-based thrift? Earnings are about $2 per year, trading at $18 -- so P/E is 9. Book value is $15.50, trading at 1.15 x book value. I think that the earnings will continue to grow, but don't see why the stock does not command a higher price. thoughts?
