There are a lot of problems in your post. Error in paricular and I am going to address them all. Let's start with the above. BKS made a profit of 77 cents in fiscal 1997 and 96 cents in fiscal 1998. Here is my source which I know is accurate:

They are growing profits and revenues and debt is falling. You lost me here.

I will ignore the rest of the post and assume it is based on ignorance as is the first part of the post.
