A 3:2 (or any ratio) stock split does not change the fundamental valuation of a stock. However, is it EXTREMELY important to note that the psychological valuation of a stock is indeed lowered during a stock split, when the stock has a high absolute price (as Intel does at $142).

If Intel announces a stock split, both INTC and INTCW will run like mad. And I can assure you that I will be a buyer.
