LOL, are you still alive? I have just recently got caught in CML where it decided it needed to bankrupt a part of itself, Nordic Trak. In fact, at these levels .25, I think the stock is interesting as its other division, Smith and Hawken is profitable. But then, I would buy a popular gardening/clothing retailer over a brand new unproven racetrack. Colonial Downs sounds a bit risky, as a stock, to me. Even Retama Park in Dallas, extremely well designed with everything going for it, is having its problems. Lone Star too. You right - young people dont go to the track. They didnt grow up with horses and they really know nothing about them, history, mood, anything. And its too slow for them. The Sport of Kings, I am afraid, is shunned by todays generation, cause they've never met a King, and dont really want to! New money, if they get involved at all, BUYS a horse and runs it.
Tell us about your yearling - blood lines, and how is he doing? Who is your trainer? Flat track, I presume?
You are a seaweed inspector? How fascinating. What do U inspect it for? I hope you dont have to go skin diving in the cold waters of Washington state! |
