Subscriber Market Share Forecasts: Digital (including CDMA, TDMA and GSM) will reach 50% market share in US market by about May 1999. With much less certainty, (due to fewer data points since CDMA was essentially 0% market share in Dec 1996 and therefore a greater variability in the forecast) CDMA will equal 50% of digital by April 1999. In other words, a much faster rate of growth but starting from a much lower base. This is based on a S-curve diffusion model for data announced in RCR News on # subscribers of CDMA, Analog, GSM and TDMA. If anyone has any additional numbers on subscriber numbers in the US market from another source I would love to see it. Tom
