I watched Greenspan's speech this week on CNBC, he seemed to allude
(the ever allusive Chairman Greenspan) to this, I understood that the Fed was committed to keeping liquidity by pumping in cash or whatever was needed, to avoid recession.

Cobalt, It would not shock me if the thing Easy Al is now pumping was horse, and I don't mean the four legged kind. The bond boyz don't like it and it shows, but equity traders are having the time of their lives. -g-

Back in '81, for no reason other than I had a boat capable of running around the globe with a few tons of cargo, the Feds tried to solicit me to run some sort of nose packing material; pick up point Cartagena. I turned them down and you can guess why I don't trust 'em too much with this stock market. But as the saying goes, it's tough to fight City Hall, and I'm sorely tempted to join that maroon, MM. -vbg-
