Elmer - Re: " Celeron demand is way up and the effect on the sub $1000 market is bad news for AMD. " AMD is responding by cutting K6-2 prices and shoving a lot more K6-2's into the distribution channel. This may temporarily help them maintain their market share, but it will have a BAD EFFECT on their bottom line. We'll know the truth in January - unless AMD's analyst conference on Thursday morning brings us a "surprise". I'm sure Cherry Sanders will be waving the FLAG mightily that day. Paul
