Karl, Your recommendations are well taken. The only reason I did'nt put EGLS in this group was because I already owned it, and not too far out of the money. My thoughts were to take about one half of my most underwater positions (CYMI, VLSI, TSEMF, COHU) sell them off and reinvest in the same semi-equipment area in companies that would have quicher recoveries, and at the same time wind up with at least twice the number of shares of the newly purchased companies.

Another way to put it, what are the most promising companies as investments in the semi-equipment area. (leaving out AMAT, KLAC & NVLS). I believe that there are a number of companies in this area that have yet to leave the starting gate.

PRIA and CMOS certainly fill the bill. Brian's insightfulness into these two is certainly helpful.

Lets put the question a third way for thread watchers. What would be the best way to spend $10,000.00 on stocks in the semiconductor area not limiting onself to a single stock but attempting to achieve maximum leverage for the next six months.

If anyone chooses to post their response (portfolio) I will track the postings and report back at the end of APRIL, the best ideas.

Good luck this week.......Jerome
