Hi Carl,
Looks like the worm has turned for small-cap semi-equip mfrs.

Remember less than one month ago -Adex almost no-traded every day.Friday 133000 shares traded hands.Bigger money than I,ve got!

It seems that front-end chip equip. makers are benefiting from speculation that the bottom is in.Certainly they are cheaper than they've been in a long time.

I think the overall leadership is being provided by IBM and INTEL.

Next level down is AMAT and NVLS

Next level down ADEX and Asyt

I also own some cohu and it has not had such a dramtic increase in volume.I think its turnaround is exoected to be later - as it is in the backend of production line.

It has all happened so fast it troubles me - but that is how small cap tech stocks turn . On a dime and with violent uptrends.

I expect some precipitous and fast gut checks that I suspect will reward brave BUY THE DIPSTERS. JMHO

All I really know is it has been a long and nasty downtrend that has undoubtedly changed the crossection of shareholders from the weak to the strong.

I think we have a TIGER by the TAIL. I would be careful to do any shorting.I am a long term position holder who times the market in years or months. It seems to me the time to short was 14 months ago.

But then I'm not nimble or trained in shorting.

Good Luck on your trades

Bob
