Bob, in my opinion clinicians will push the envelope fast and hard with Neuprex. They will decide applications on their own very rapidly and compete peer wise for publications of such usage. Once again only my opinion. Got this from Yahoo, read carefully about what the treating clinician had to say: Story to share by: movaughnisgone 4127 of 4135 Had to bring my 7mo old to the hospital today with a 104 fever and of course I, with just having read about the products being worked on by my newest investment, XOMA, freaked out thinking the worst. Immediately a urine and blood test was prescribed but was told she was too alert to have meningitis(I know it's wrong) or the like. But we got to talking and my Dr. had heard of XOMA and BPI. She said if the drug is approved, every doctor will habe plenty handy for liability sake. She also stated that it will obviously be a much cheaper alternative than a spinal tap and she ALWAYS prescribes one if the baby appears "out of it". She said lots of medical stuff too, but I am sorry I don't remember. My daughter got the antibiotic shot and is now fine, thank god, but I also was happy to hear that the professionals I am close to have also heard of XOMA are just as eager to get the results. Good Luck, tonight I can just wait for the cultures, much happier than waiting for tap analysis.
