Mark, I agree you can go the fund way and be a bit safer. I always have bought the stock. You might want to look at BCOM, the nations largest SBA Bank. I bought this company back last year prior to the 2 for 1 split and their expansion into the southern and midwestern markets. Very aggressive management, and is starting to take back off @ $15.00 a share. Bank of Commerce San Diego.
IMHO it's worth a look.
