Kemble, Michael Dell must be a pilot. My reason for saying that is because of an underrated dynamic that is taking place in the PC Industry and any pilot with any flying time could relate to it and I am convinced this is the reason Mikey has refuse to participate in the sub $1000 market. When a pilot takes possession of his first airplane he is convinced that it is the only one he will ever need or desire. He is flying along about 120 mph with the little wife along and couldn't be happier, but as any pilot could tell you, one is never satisfied. We all want to go higher and faster and Mikey knows this and I am sure most of you do but a lot of analyst miss this point and talk of saturation etc. They all expound on the future of cheap computers but I will bet that most of the people on this thread even though they got more technology for the dollar, they paid more for the computer they now own than the one they had before. Saturation has never existed with evolving technology only obsolescence. How many automobiles have you or yours owned?
