Subhankar: The spread is so wide because the stock is down to two
marketmakers. This is happening in a lot of relatively quiet stocks.
The various new rules about trading are reducing the profits of the
market makers, so they are cutting back their exposure. In other
words, the SEC and NASD are trying to make NASDAQ more "fair" to
the public investor; at the rate things are going, NASDAQ will become
so darn fair that it will cease to exist.

AFCX's cables are almost entirely electrical cable, not communications
lines. (If it were data type cables, with AFCX's record, the stock
would probably be $75 now.)
