ed, I always disavow all legal knowledge. It's entertainment to me. You seem to be getting a bit apoplectic about the whole thing.

You want answers, go read something by someone who knows the law. I'd point you to my favorite articles from The Economist, but they've taken their Microsoft case coverage off the free site, pity. On my unlimited thought, again, I wouldn't claim to recall everything I'd written, but I would be able to recognize it if put before me. Bill's little forgetting act is a bit too convenient, considering that he seemed fairly obsessed with the matter at the time.

As to anti-consumer, that sounds like Microsoft to me. If they were pro-consumer, they'd ship an OS that sucks less. That's just my smart-alec opinion, though. The integrity and uniformity of my personal Windows95 experience, and all that.
