I once read an anonymous quote somewhere which went something like this:

"There are three types of lies, white lies, black lies and statistics, in order of severity"

My question would be, based on the statistics which tell us that the CPQ market share is MUCH greater than DELL, how did they select the 278 Fortune 1000 companies, and are the results corrected for the statistical sample?

Otherwise, I agree that the spin put on the results is quite negative considering that the figures for CPQ actually show an improvement.
