Besides, wouldn't it upset people who were counting on being able to trade with respect to a certain date? I would be upset if a company didn't announce when they said they would, without a really compelling reason. Besides, don't you think it's clear to most people that CPQ is the one that's concerned, not Dell? Dell has not indulged much in stunts like this - they just stay the course and deliver the goods. I doubt that they are much worried by a CPQ announcement.
