I can only parrot back what I've heard and read about Thrifts--at least lately. That lowering interests rates along with a confluence of other " things " have produced a flattening yield curve that puts more pressure on S and L's than commercial banks---due to their heavier reliance on mortgage based lending and business. There are some folks who are at odds with this thinking but there it is..... BTW, CBSA looks interesting; I will take a look. Lazarre
