Ed - I didn't say the Chairman Raker got away with murder (although he did), I said the company got away with murder (and they did). The SEC says insider trading "refers generally to buying or selling a security, in breach of a fiduciary duty or other relationship of trust and confidence, while in possession of material, nonpublic information about the security." It makes no reference to the number or shares owned at the time or bought or sold at the time. In fact, I think the law is pretty straightforward. It does NOT say it's OK if you only sell 20M out of 700M shares that you own. Now tell me Raker didn't know of the imminent bomb to be dropped when he filed. This is not a matter of degree. This is also about the lack of ethics the company displayed by granting the IBD interview, but I'm not going to beat a dead horse. Look, you want to believe in this company, go ahead, it's a free country. You want to allow companies to continue to swindle the investing public, be my guest. You'll only be able to do it until your assets are depleted - then maybe you'll get my point.
