Trading activity a mystery Diadem Resources Ltd DIR Shares issued 26,465,005 Nov 6 close $0.49 Mon 9 Nov 98 News Release Mr. A.C.A. Howe reports At the request of the Montreal Exchange the directors of Diadem announce they are unable to explain recent trading activity, but wish to repeat that the recent developments referred to in press releases of Oct. 1 and 19 (Stockwatch Oct. 1 and 19) are positive for the company's future. Negotiations are progressing for the financing discussed in the Oct. 1 press release. When finalized it is planned to recommence exploration on the Leek Springs, California diamond property. In addition to the joint venture proposal to install a mill at the Nicaragua property referred to in the Oct. 1 press release, new expressions of interest have been received. These involve joint ventures for the zinc property at Pekan River, the copper-nickel-platinum group metals at the Sarah Lake property, and the zinc-lead-silver property on Belitung Island, Indonesia.
