Paul, if it would be helpful to you, I will be glad, in a PM, to diagram your initial statement, which prompted a response from me. I can see I may also need to break down my reply.
Just so you know, I have no problem with wall street or this stock. Either owe me nothing. But I do find ignorance distasteful, and, in my opinion, stereotyping to be a blatant example of it. Perhaps I am a little overly sensitive as I do work with a lot of populations who constantly feel the effects of discrimination.
I believe if you go back and look at your statement, you will find that it is a textbook example of a stereotype. As I recall, in pertinent part, it says, "all who bought" and then assigns a characteristic to that class. Since I am in that class, I objected to the quality you tried to attribute to me, and simply provided some information that would demonstrate that the claim at issue was unfounded.
I can assure you my reply really had nothing to do with DGIV or the stockmarket, other than that was the context of your statement. I suspect you really didn't mean what you originally said, but if that were the case, you might have offered an apology to those you offended. Our my feelings hurt? No, not really, I guess it would have been wishful thinking to have expected that from you.
