That NY State contract is big time for SEEC, IMO. Not sure what revenue flow will be but it has great significance for once again validating SEEC's technology. NYS has been aggressive in their y2k work and their presentations at various y2k conferences always lead me to believe that they were on the leading edge of developments. I'm sure (but can't confirm) that SEEC had to beat out a lot of other vendors through a series of "bake offs."

By the way, my concern with y2k investments is that very problem. EVERYONE seems to have a solution for y2k. And they're all the
best! :-) Close to being commoditized at this point, IMO. For SEEC to be a solid long term investment they have only to prove that their post-y2k offerings are as competitive as their y2k products. Probably are, but jury is still out at this point. In the meantime, it's good to see this morning's pop in price.
