bp, I do not equate "liberalism" with "moral relativism." B&B do. (I agree with you about Moynihan.) Insofar as total "moral relativism" (not to be confused with "situational ethics") is concerned, I would finger another culprit: the rampant "anything goes" commercialism & hucksterism that afflicts our culture, thanks to the technological revolution we have been through in the past four decades.
