That market is IMHO a little different. Yes companies HAVE to deliver. But in the $2000-$3000 consumer market, when Christmas comes, there has to be a machine under the tree. So if AAPL doesn't deliver (aren't on the shelf) then Packard Bell or Dell or Gateway2K or any other Wintel box will do just fine. I mean they run a lot of the same programs. The market that SGI deals with is a little different. Not that buyers will wait forever, but when a new class of machine with reviews claiming great price/performance numbers, buyers will have some patience.
