IBM continues to do poorly in the PC market, and big oil companies will wreck more ships. You case with Chase makes a good case for buying CD, IMO. As far as FTEL, it is a hype stock, IMO. Did you read that news article someone posted recently? FTEL is a leader, huh? I guess "leader" is a somewhat relative term. Perhaps in the same way that Intrine was a "major company".
Actually IBM did a pretty good job in their transformation from main frame to PC. As far as FTEL I think to a very large degree hype was used to create interest in stock and hardware. But underneath all that hype was an interesting company that despite franks poor efforts as a corporate leader their ideas and biz plan was not bad. Now under the keen eye of 2 very savvy guys they are even more interesting. But the question is, are they still trying to be a hype only company or are they making efforts to only announce events that have transpired? As for the FTEL is a leader from an investor point of view that is way over stated. From a tech point of view they are making some innovative and courageous headway in this field.

I find that surprising, considering how many good insights I have
provided on this company, not to mention documentation. I suppose that
you still consider me a short on FTEL, or something, of which I am not. And even if I were, shorts are often the first good sources of the true fundamentals of a company.

I do not care if you are short FTEL. In fact I would feel more comfortable as to why you persist so if you were short. As for that last sentence "And even if I were, shorts are often the first good sources of the true fundamentals of a company" That is incorrect IMO A lot of companies have eaten shorts pants over the last 7 years they are not an indicator of anything unless a ton of shorts line up for no apparent reason. Than the pressure of so many shorts will press hard especially if one of those short seller news letters help the cause against the poor unsuspecting company. By the way In the case of Ftel we have no way of knowing if anyone is short.
That also brings up Insider trades. Not always are they an indicator of future events. For example do you know who Stephen Holmes is? On april 16th of this year he bought 30,000 shares of CD at $19.94-20.00 Whoops.

Are you sure it was a "mistake," even if it was ill-fated? You think I'm too skeptical, no doubt, and yet you are as skeptical about me as I am about FTEL. Isn't that ironic?
Nope I am not. Are you sure it was? As for skeptical about you I admit I am. Duh! Your posts are so redundant its like you are trying to will this company towards disaster. Both you and I know that is impossible but why keep repeating yourself over and over. Do you not realize that by using this tactic you send up big flags as to your motive? I am actually past caring really I just want someone to post against your opinions. If I had my way I would rather see about 1/2 dozen others that are better at techno and marketing than I will ever be respond to you. RB, ELK, Martin come to mind but alas no. So I try to offer up something which I hope represents somewhat well.

Well I will keep trying as I am sure you will as well.
