Quadrax Begins Shipping Lacrosse, Bicycle And Hockey Equipment
PORTSMOUTH, R.I., Jan. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Quadrax Corp announced today that it has begun shipping its Thermo- Plastic(TM) lacrosse sticks, bicycle handlebars and hockey sticks directly to retailers and through catalogues. The products are also being marketed to original equipment manufacturers and will be exhibited at major sporting goods trade shows in January and February. All the products are branded under the Quad Force(TM) name and are being manufactured at the Company's Portsmouth, Rhode Island facility.
Lacrosse sticks are being distributed through the LAX catalogue while bicycle handlebars have been picked up in the Quality Bicycles, Bicycle Technology International and G. Joannou catalogues. The handlebars are also being sold through distributors in Japan and Australia. Hockey sticks are being marketed directly through retailers and have already been purchased by high school programs. In addition, the Company continues to explore OEM relationships for each of these product categories.
Quadrax will be exhibiting these products extensively at key trade shows, including the Lacrosse Coaches Show in Stamford, Connecticut and the Montreal International Sports Exposition, a major hockey show, both in January. The Company will also be at the PGA Show this month exhibiting its Thermo- Plastic(TM) golf shafts and will exhibit at the Supershow, the major sporting goods industry event of the year, in Atlanta, in February.
