How do you know once MSFT get a stranglehold on
browser market,the consumer will pay more for it and the temporary benefit will vanish?

Because they will be able to do so. This is the nature of markets.
If money is placed before you, I would bet you'd take it. I don't need to prove a priori that you will do this.
