That is exactly what the Republicans said and that is why they got rammed! Looks like they want an encore in the year 2000! Fine! They ought to get what they are asking for!

One can believe in family and whatnot and yet on principle vote against legislation that impacts the country.

In reality, one just talks about family and what not, and yet, when it really matters, votes against a legislation that would have benefited families in extreme emotional distress. Well, too bad for you folks that a good majority of the people see the Republicans' hypocritical homilies for what they really are -- hypocritical homilies!

And your reply is as good a demonstration as any that the liberals CAN'T get it. At least there is hope for the Republicans.

Not if they are unwilling to get off their hypocritical high horse.
