I thought I knew every bear site, but that's excellent and I didn't know about it.

One contributor to a discussion, though, could use a little help with his writing:

I read somewhere that in the turbulant times ahead that real estate is not a good investment. But weather we like it or not a majority are stuck in the real estate mkt. Not the office space and high rise market or the lets finance a new mall market but the I have a mortgage market. The question is if things do get to be real ugly ofer say the next five years what will happen to a guy with a variable rate mortgage, and would he in fact be better off to refinance now or in the near future with a fixed mortgage. Also is it time to dump the new GMC or Blazer and buy a good cheap used vehicle that doesn't require a $350 pmt. to the bank? Also what are the best ressession/depression proof jobs to have in the future if a majority of people will be in bread lines.
