I see...it's not slot 1 but Socket 370. Halla peno is very clever.

Your guess is as good as mine about NSM roadmap, but the PR400/450 setting for FIC VA-503+ must be for Socket 7 chip, since the motherboard is accepts only Socket 7 chips.

The 370 pin chip may be just another version of the Cayenne chip, because June 99 sounds too early for Jalapeno.

But if would make more sense for the chip to be Jalapeno core, since I don't think Socket 370 will have support for off-chip L2. Cayenne would probably suck performace-wise in Socket 370.

M3 (including audio, video and all that) will most likely have a custom pinout. It may need a lot more pins than 370.
