As I was trying to catch up on the thread today, I saw this post and that nobody had responded, so here goes...

No and yes... at least, as I understand it. There are 3 companies of interest to us that have the word "Digitcom" in their name. There is Digitcom Interactive Multimedia (DIM), Digitcom Interactive Video Network (DiVN, DGIV) and Digitcom Long Distance Corporation (DLD).
Digitcom Interactive Multimedia (DIM) is the company from which Digitcom Interactive Video Network sprang when a number of assets were transferred to the company in exchange for 9M shares. As of 1996, DIM was wholly owned by Jimmy Chin and his mother, who each held 50% of the stock.
Digitcom Interactive Video Network is referred to as DiVN internally by the company and its ticker symbol is DGIV (the main company of interest to us). I assume the company got its name from the main asset transferred from DIM... the Digitcom Interactive Video Network, also called DiV-N (the product has the dash). This product, I assume was initially thought by the company to be the way to fortune and fame. The 1996 10-SB gives the framework for a very aggressive plan to rollout this product to a number of cities. I do not believe that they are actively pursuing the marketing of DiV-N at this time.
Digitcom Long Distance Corporation (DLD) is a subsidiary of DiVN (DGIV), according to Roger Templeton, and acts as a division of DGIV.
It is a bit confusing when reading various documents, including press releases & the 10-SB. Sometimes they refer to Digitcom Interactive Video Network, sometimes just Digitcom (or Digitcom Corporation) and sometimes Digitcom Long Distance. Furthermore, some of the company officers are officers in the other corps. as well.
I do believe it was the intent of the company to change the name of DiVN to Digitcom Corporation, but I do not know that has been officially done yet.
