I believe Dr. Frankel is a doctor, just not the kind he has represented himself to be (an M.D.). Every source I have found (whether person or via computer) indicate he fits dentures for a living. He clearly stated on his personal page at raging bull that he was a MD. Several times he has talked about fellow doctors, although a prosthodontist is a dentist (not an MD). He has allowed others to believe he was a medical doctor. His references to academic/teaching/staff positions he has held and continue to hold are at question. His supposed five year residency training is at question. His references to being chief here and there, associated with major universities and training centers are at question. His purported holdings of 2million or 1million shares of TSIG are at question.
Why would he be dishonest? I don't know. Credibility, prestige, jealousy, whatever.
If I am wrong, I will voluntarily never post on TSIG thread again, only if Dr. Frankel agrees to the same (which I do not believe he will).
I do not think we should tolerate such misrepresentations or dishonesty, however, if I am right.

A two-tiered challenge: The American Medical Association established an internet site where all physicians could be looked up. First, look up any and all physicians you can think of--I bet you find them. Next, look up Martin Frankel MD of California. Nope.

Finally, on a positive note, I received an e-mail from TSIG today saying all of the errors I sent them had been corrected. I truly am sorry to raise these concerns at such a great time in TSIG's development, but realize I have never misrepresented myself and have done nothing wrong here.
