The World According to Gregg Powers. So let me see if I've got this straight.

The “spectacular” results were not rewarded because of the Q's “very conservative guidance”, a deliberate attempt to “talk down revenue projections”. The company intentionally dampened the expectations which would ordinarily follow results such as these. And such higher expectations - while not necessarily unrealistic, would have resulted in a stock “well on its way to $100.00” But that would be bad because bad things could still happen and expectations might have to be lowered and then the stock would go down again. The lower stock price is actually a good thing and those of us “who prefer a more consistent financial performance, reduced stock volatility and more predictable appreciation should be content”.

Well I guess I'm just going to have to work on that. I am however dazzled by your logic. Actually I suspect that you and most of the rest of us long time shareholders are trapped in our own cognitive dissonance. We've been doing this so long we can justify anything.
