Sal.... thanks for the advice. I had a little voice in the back of my head that knew better and was going to buy a Dell, Gate etc. > BUT, little old impatient me, I didn't want to wait a WHOLE WEEK to get my machine ; ) Live and learn. I'm keeping up the good fight and will post what happens as I'm sure it will be of interest to anyone thinking of buying a machine. I DO KNOW that BEST BUY are A-holes. I spent $5000+ on a computer, printer etc., and They have been nothing but grief and have treated me like a peon. Terrible customer service. I am withholding comments about ACER until I actually get in contact with them, although that in itself has been impossible, and says alot about the company. The only reason I bought the ACER from BEST BUY was because they are close by and I figured that if I had trouble I could just run the machine to the store and get it fixed. WRONG!!! This was my first PC (I've always used MACS) so I felt more comfortable buying from a local store. BIG MISTAKE!
