Very good article in 'Red Herring' basically about the competition for INTEL - There isn't any - except for AMD. They also profiled about 5 other smaller chip makers, Cyrus among them, but the article to me looked like an article on how AMD was 'cleaning up' on what INTC is ignoring. One thing they pointed out is AMD is the only other company that has their own chip-making facility, except for the rumor that Cyrus is making their own, and not having them farmed out to IBM. They say somebody needs to stay in the X86 market, which INTC is abandoning........and AMD is improving upon. FWIW.
