Scumbria,
By all accounts, it appears that AMD isn't the one slinging the bull of late but those that are hanging on every word some analyst says and
trying to jump the gun on the next coup.
I don't remember AMD giving a specific date for the release of the 300, 333, 350, 380 or 400 in in advance. I see no date for the release of the K6-3, K2-450 or K7 on AMDs web page. About as specific as they get is something like end of quarter 4 or beginning or quarter 1 or during quarter 4. Some analyst talks with a PR person who hedges and the next thing you know the rumors fly about "such and such" being late. Therefore there must be a "technical problem". How can something be late when there was never a release date. Oops, the Merced isn't out so it must be late so there must be a techical problem.
You know these Intelabuffoons around here are desparate for something, anything, so they can jump on the anti-AMD bandwagon.
Truth of the matter is that AMD is executing it's game plan pretty darn good.

Jim
