To all: heads up vis-a'-vis the market during the next few days

FWIW, I just ran a scan on 175 stocks and a few indices that I track on a daily basis. I've never seen anything like this before...

Fully 25% of all the stocks [44 out of 175] are showing sell signals based upon candlestick theory using daily charts. In addition, sell signals are present for the DOW, the S$P-500, the S&P-100, the Russell-2000 and the NYSE composite index.

Even more unusual: there were ZERO buy signals. That is unprecedented in a scan of 175 stocks!

The indication, from my experience, is that the market is highly likely to make a short-term drop within the next 5-10 trading days. Perhaps sooner.

I posted this here on the Kook thread for the lack of a more appropriate place to make this "off-the-wall" observation and prediction. <g>

It remains to be see just how "goofy" this projection turns out to be. Don't anyone "short the farm" based on this. :-)
