Attention: novice stock players. I offer the following opinions for your consideration. I don't mean to preach. I just feel this should be said.

Short-term trading is a very hazardous occupation for a number of reasons:

1. You are competing against pros. Sort of like going one-on-one with Michael Jordan.
2. The deck is stacked against you. Insiders have info before you do.
3. Much of what goes on in the stock market is crooked. Do some reading!
4. No one, even Shawn, knows for sure where a stock will go, short-term or long-term.
5. Your broker will get rich and you will get poor.

Don't confuse a bull market with investing skill. When the bear awakens, you will lose your money faster than your made it. I know that Shawn has promised to give you an edge, but what will you do if he stumbles, or worse, when he disappears?

My advice: educate yourself first. Read a pile of books and become your own "expert". Buy good companies at reasonable prices and be prepared to hold them a long time if necessary. Don't be greedy. Remember that old saw, "Bulls make money, bears make money, but pigs get slaughtered".
