Jan,

I'm not at all certain here, but I believe if you use any of the "output" commands it converts that symbol, or symbols, to real MS files. I had one stock like that in my otherwise virtual files and didn't realize it for months. But I had to continually "output" the darn thing every night to get it to update.

As I understand things, in order to add just a single symbol to an existing virtual file, I do this: Put the single symbol in a new list. Open the virtual profile you want it added to and then open the list you just created. Now drag and drop the single symbol into the list and presto!

To delete a single symbol, you open the profile it's in. Find the symbol, right click on it, then left click on delete and it's gone.

Hope this helps! Ken

If I'm wrong, I hope someone straightens both of us out. <g>

30 seconds later...edit You don't open the list, as I say to do above. You simply click on "lists", find the new list, then drag the entire thing over to an open profile. You can add one, or several symbols to an open profile this way.
